Function of this part
The EGR (exhaust gas recirculation) system routes a controlled amount of exhaust gas back into the intake. This lowers combustion temperatures and helps reduce NOx emissions.
Why this part matters
Because EGR flow is monitored closely by the engine management system, issues with EGR valves or coolers quickly trigger fault codes and derates. Keeping the EGR system in good working order is key to reliability and emissions compliance.
About the brand
PACCAR components support both Kenworth and Peterbilt trucks with OEM-grade fit and performance.
Fitment & usage
Used OEM parts are a smart choice for controlling repair costs while still using original-equipment components. Always match the OEM part number(s) listed to your existing part, and consult your service manual, dealer, or technician if you are unsure about fitment.
Note: Because this is a used component, normal signs of wear such as scratches, discoloration, or light surface corrosion may be present. Refer to the product photos and information on Second Truck Parts for the best representation of the part you will receive.
