Super-Sonic Jazz present a reissue of Beverly Glenn-Copeland's self-titled debut album, originally released on the Canadian GRT imprint in 1970. The debut release by Afro-Canadian singer, songwriter, and cult figure within new age experimental sounds, has been long been sought after. The soulful jazz release, was original recorded in 1970 alongside musicians Dough Bush, Don Thompson, Terry Clark, Lenny Breau, Jeremy Steig, and Ray Charles collaborator Doug Riley, aka Dr. Music. Written when she was 26, the album is a testament to Copeland's stand-out songwriting and earnest, beautiful vocal talents, fitting into the realms of spiritual folk. Born into a musical family in Ottawa, Canada, Beverly Glenn-Copeland studied the classical piano repertoire, after being brought up listening to his father's playing at home. Following his studies, Copeland moved on to songwriting, in order to weave all the different musical cultures he had come to love. He is best known for the 1986 release Keyboard Fantasies, reissued in 2017 by Invisible City, a record described as a mixture of "digital new age and early experimental Detroit techno". Now going by his name Glenn Copeland after gender transitioning, the singer songwriter also made a name for himself writing children's music for TV shows Sesame Street and Mr. Dressup. Referring back to his debut record, Copeland states: "I was a fresh-faced kid of twenty-six when I wrote these songs, only a few years out of the classical music world in which I had been immersed since childhood, performing the European classical song repertoire in concerts both live and for radio broadcast. So I sold my oboe, bought a guitar, and began tuning it in wild and wonderful ways to more easily find the chords I had no idea how to find in the regular tuning. I didn't want to study anymore. I just wanted to write." Comes in a heavyweight tip-on sleeve.

Great support and easy to assemble!
Really can't complain about anything about this chair, it was delivered quickly, packaged very securely and very easy to put together with simple instructions. I work from home and am older with multiple joint problems and this chair has many different ways to be adjusted that really help, especially if I'm extra achy or sore. I really like how the arm rest can be angled so that I can access my keyboard at my desk ergonomically and the arms can be lifted up and out of the way all together so that I can position myself closer to the desk when needed. A really nice chair for a great price.

Great Chair, But Armrests Are a Nuisance
This ergonomic office chair has a lot going for it. The mesh back is comfortable and breathable, the adjustable lumbar support is excellent, and the 3D headrest is a welcome addition for long workdays. The rocking function is also a nice feature to have. Overall, the chair is very comfortable and supportive, and seems well-made with the SGS Class 4 gas cylinder.
However, there's one glaring flaw that constantly annoys me: the armrests. While they are 3D adjustable, meaning they move up and down, forward and back, and side to side, there's no way to lock them in place. This means that every time I shift in my seat or even just slightly bump the armrest, it moves. It's incredibly frustrating to constantly be readjusting them. It disrupts my focus and makes it hard to find a truly comfortable and consistent position.
If the armrests could be locked, this chair would be near perfect. As it stands, this one issue significantly detracts from the overall experience. If you're someone who fidgets or moves around a lot while sitting, I'd seriously consider whether you can live with armrests that constantly need readjustment. For me, it's a daily annoyance that makes me question whether I'd buy this chair again.

Great Chair
I was needing an affordable ergo chair and have tried quite a few. For this price range, you can't beat the quality of this piece. Adjustable lumbar support, arm rest height perfect and cushioned. The head piece is nice, but just not for me. Nicely rocks for those who can't sit still. Easy to assemble by yourself (~20 min) using common sense. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is the seat is made more for someone wider, as I someone feel like my hips are dipping inwards (I am also very narrow). Got a more solid butt pad, and it's perfect. Also! I didn't even need to put on my lumbar support pillow, as the lumbar support is perfect for me!
Definitely recommend!
