Chief Joseph (1840-1904), headman of the Nez Perc band in northeastern Oregon's Wallowa Valley, became the greatest diplomat, philosopher, and-from necessity rather than choice-war leader of his people and among the most respected Indian leaders of American history.
In this meticulous and moving new study of Joseph's life, Candy Moulton-who has traveled over all the trails he and his people blazed-emphasizes the pivotal year of 1877, when the frontier military tried to force Joseph and his people onto the reservation. Instead of meekly following these outrageous orders, he led 750 Nez Perc s on a 1,500-mile, four-month flight from western Idaho across Montana and through the Yellowstone country and northwest Wyoming toward safety in Canada. After many battles, the flight ended at the Bear Paws mountains in north-central Montana, just forty miles from the Canadian border and potential refuge. There the U.S. Army surrounded the Nez Perc s, captured their horse herd, killed all but two of their primary chiefs, and forced capitulation. When Joseph surrendered to military leaders he told them, From where the sun now stands I will fight no more forever.

Sage Green color is true to the photo.
I bought a king for a queen bed, I’m glad I didn’t get the queen because it would have left my mattress visible but I can still see the bed with the king.

Lightweight, Cozy, and Affordable!

This comforter is such a great value for the price. It’s lightweight but still warm and cozy, making it perfect for year-round use. The fabric feels soft to the touch, and it fluffs up nicely right out of the package.
The queen size fits my bed perfectly and looks great once styled with pillows. It also washes well — I tossed it in the washer and dryer and it came out just as fluffy as before, no clumping or shifting.
If you want a comfortable, budget-friendly comforter that looks and feels nice, this is definitely a great pick!

King Size does not include corner tabs

DISCLAIMER - KING COMFORTER DOES NOT HAVE CORNER TABS
I've ordered 2 comforters prior to in the Queen size which included handy corner tabs to secure the duvet cover. I recently ordered in the King size and the tabs weren't there. Thinking I got defective product, I returned and was sent a replacement. I was disappointed to discover the replacement also didn't have tabs, so I guess the comforters made in the King size just don't have them. It would be helpful to have that listed somewhere in the product details. It's not worth the trouble of returning again so I'm keeping it. Otherwise the lightweight feel of this comforter is great for Florida weather, obviously we liked these so much we have three in our home now!

Perfffff
