In Okay Kaya songs, her world looks a lot like ours - Netflix, jetlag, vegan peanut butter and chocolate ice cream, lonely bowls of ramen, diet trends. But unlike ours, each of these vibrates and shimmers with deeper, darker meaning, with existential dread and desire for understanding. Through Norwegian-raised New Yorker Kaya's dreamy soft-focus lens, the language of Twitter memes becomes modernist poetry as her breathy contralto voice sings lines like, "If you don't love me at my guttural sound, you don't deserve me at my guttural sound." This is Sade for nihilists. On the opening track of her new record, Watch This Liquid Pour Itself, out on January 24, 2020, from Jagjaguwar, she sings, "I used to fight the feeling, always let it win." As she transforms these feelings, defeats, and victories into songs, the lyrics often involve pools of sweat, oceans, and other forms of wetness. But Okay Kaya's world is not one of renewal and rebirth-it's not water at all, actually. "It's more like bile, " Kaya says, "It's what comes out in the purge." In these songs, Kaya swims through her melancholy and anxiety-not as a way of cleansing herself, but as an understanding of their depths.

Easy assembly

Super easy assembly, one screw in tree trunk is unscrewed to place bowl and tree together - Phillips screwdriver needed. I bought the silver ring holder which perfectly suits my personality and decorative style. Can't tell you how wonderful it feels to finally have all of my rings off of my desk and stored in an easy to find place! Space saving is high on my list because I currently live in a 28' camper, so do not have my larger jewelry boxes in here with me. It only arrived today (7/28/2019) so this is with only a single days use, but am very pleased with the purchase and value for the ring holder - I was specifically looking for an inexpensive metal ring tree versus a plastic one.

Great starter set for finding the right hoop size

Bought these for my girlfriend and we both ended up really liking them. I actually liked that this set came with multiple sizes because it let her try different looks before deciding what size she likes most. It was a nice way to test things out before spending more money on real gold earrings. They look good, feel lightweight, and have been a fun way to figure out her preference.

Great value and super cute!

These earrings are a yellow gold which I like, and they’ve held up really well the past few days in the shower and with daily wear. These feel high quality and as long as you arent rough with the clasps, these should last you a long time. These are affordable for the quality. I don’t think these will tarnish, and they haven’t lost any shine. The ones in the picture are the smallest size, but I love the others too. They are comfortable to wear and very light weight, whereas others I’ve tried have been heavy or not sturdy enough for daily wear. I would definitely recommend buying these!
