TOWNS OF THE 92 ENGLISH FOOTBALL LEAGUE CLUBS by E R Neafcy takes the reader beyond the well known and much loved football clubs of England to the places and towns where the clubs have grown. These place names tell a tale of the diversity of people that lived there and their ways of life. This booklet covers the towns and settlements from which grew the 92 clubs of the English Football League. Some of the stories are surprising. The old English town of ÔNorthworthyÕ was later changed by Danish settlers to ÔDerbyÕ. The Normans found difficulty in pronouncing ÔsnÕ and so changed ÔSnotinghameÕ to ÔNottinghamÕ. 16th century Spanish occupation of the Netherlands made Norwich first an asylum destination, then a world centre for canary breeding which accounts for the nickname and colours of the football club. The name London, the best known place-name in England, is conspicuously absent and does not appear in the name of any football club. Lots of the townsÕ coats of arms are of great antiquity. Often they indicate how the town sees itself, or used to. Not all of the town councils have registered a coat of arms with the College of Arms. Though the arms of many may be a faithful attempt to represent the townÕs story, a coat of arms need not be a solemn piece of work. The royal coat of arms appears in the nationÕs courts of justice. It features a unicorn, a fictitious animal. A word in a townÕs motto might suggest an image that has nothing to do with the townÕs story but is in some way funny, or is an Ôin-jokeÕ that locals understand. Why then not put that image in the heraldry, as Oldham, Rochdale, Sheffield and Wigan do?

Perfect Fit
Color: B-navy blue
I recently bought an iPad (A16) 11th Generation and needed a case for protection. I had a similar case to this one for another iPad that I owned in the past and was very pleased with it. I tried to put my new iPad into that case, but it didn’t really fit well, so I had to purchase a new one. I found this case on Amazon at a good price. I received it on the second day and it fit perfectly! It also has a slot to hold my Apple Pencil, which the other case did not have. So I am very pleased with it.

Cute! Didn’t last long for me
Color: A-Pink, Color: A-Pink
Very cute and comfortable! Love the folding tabs. Unfortunately, I’ve only had this case for around 6-7 months, and it’s already cracked and chipped. I also always carry it in a protective case (aside from this one; a computer sleeve) so i don’t think i was being rough with it at all. Still works fine, and should protect the ipad. i’m just sad it cracked so soon! I would’ve kept it for much longer had it not. I do however take it to school/work everyday, so it did commute with me.

Great quality and functional
Model: iPad 11th A16 2025/10th, Model: iPad 11th A16 2025/10th
Fantastic screen protector! Adheres flawlessly and is easy to install. Doesn’t interfere with screen functionality and doesn’t go cloudy or hazy with use. It fits perfectly on my iPad 11 and was an absolute bargain compared to other protectors that cost 3x as much and never stayed in place without bubbling. Color is crystal clear, you can’t tell it’s there and it is easy to clean too! I definitely recommend!
