The Djanbazan Tactical Group forms the Special Assault Corps of the Muhafiz, the Funduq Security and Intelligence force. They are responsible for spaceport security and protection of the Sari Han orbital base. Sari Han is an important stopover on the way to the Jump Gates in the Bourak system. Djanbazans defend Haqqislam’s entry and exit points with the mission of safeguarding all stages of the Silk trade. This means they are also willing to engage in close combat with pirates, smugglers and insurgents. They specialize in assault, boarding and security/control operations, so they are used as an anti-terrorist unit by the Muhafiz. As a special unit, members of the Djanbazan group undergo a battery of biogenetic therapies to endow them with superior physical endurance and recuperation. Then, Djanbazans are trained to fight and die, disregarding their own fears and doubts. As a result, they have a reputation for being reckless and, above all, very dangerous. It is said that they have been fighting their enemies for so long that they have become like them, and that they take care of the Sultan’s grey ops in the shadows. However, the Djanbazan Tactical Group has conducted so many covert operations that it is hard to say who they work for anymore. Some analysts believe the Djanbazan take orders directly from the Hachib, but others claim they have undertaken actions for the direct benefit of certain Silk trade conglomerates. The Muhafiz chiefs are aware that you cannot create a predator and then expect to keep it on a leash all the time. As long as their boys do everything they are asked to do, they don’t mind if Djanbazans make some money on the side.

No returns and no support. If it doesn't work properly, too bad.

I was fairly happy with my Epson ET 2800, but was told that I'd get better colors with the F170. So I bit the bullet.
The installation went smoothly and I was printing in short order. It was when I started printing items that had some dark gray that I noticed the problem. It was printing green. I contacted Epson tech support and they answered the phone almost immediately. (And how rare is that??)
The woman I spoke with seemed to be familiar with the problem and advised me to modify the printer preferences and change the color correction from "ICM" to "No color correction". Well, it wasn't printing green anymore. Now the grays were brown. At this point, she ran out of ideas and gave me an email address for the second level of tech support and asked if I'd send a photo of the printed fabrics showing the problem. I did. That was over three weeks ago. I've sent a couple of followup emails, but they're ignoring me.
But the best news was discovering that there are no returns on this product. I didn't think that was a thing with Amazon and I've never had any problems before. So now the 30-day return window is about to elapse and it appears that I'm stuck with an oversized doorstop.
In the photo I'm including with this review, the fabric on the upper-left was printed with my Epson ET 2800. On the upper right, the F170 with ICM color correction. On the bottom, the F170 with no color correction.

Epson SureColor F170 Sublimation Printer Rocks!

TI’m a newbie at sublimation, and this is my first sublimation printer. I love it! I can’t wait to make more things! I like that it’s not too large, but still can print up to 8.5x14”. The quality seems to be really good, but I also don’t have any other printer to compare it to. This was my very first project! I’m very happy with it so far!

Works great as advertised

Working great so far! Enjoying starting doing sublimation work. A rookie a few weeks in and it's going well.
Print quality is decent. Not having paper jam issues. Was easy to setup.
I had to goto Epson and download a current print driver to get all the print properties and printer settings I needed. Was easy. After I installed the 2nd driver and saw it worked better, then I uninstalled the 1st epson driver. Helped allow for 8.5 x 14 page size and high quality. Just a few options needed that were not showing on the original print driver. Took me a few days to figure out what was going on. It helped with the quality of the prints after I got the better driver. So the end product is better also.

Prints great, wifi was an issue

Got the printer a week ago and have printed something every day so far and the quality of the prints have been fantastic. Arrived and set up without any major issues, other than not being able to connect to my local wifi. Had to get an Ethernet cable to connect to it.
