The color temperature of 4700K captures the gentle sunlight typical of a tropical morning. According to German standards, DIN, the light resemblance index is rated lA (the highest possible), achieving a 92% similarity to natural sunlight. The ultraviolet emission is kept to a minimum at just 2%, focusing on UV A and UV B, which are essential for terrariums that imitate swampy and tropical rainforest habitats, housing species that require low UV exposure, such as spiders, scorpions, and insects. Smooth poison dart frogs, for instance, depend on this specific amount of ultraviolet light to avoid vitamin deficiency syndromes.
