The ceramic base is enhanced with a unique blend of ingredients including tourmaline, maifanitum, actinolite, and minerals from volcanic rocks.
These minerals emit far infrared (FIR) waves within the range of 4-12 μm, which aids in maintaining water clarity and eliminating unpleasant odors.
A gentle 0.06mA electric current produced by tourmaline assists in breaking down chlorine in tap water used during water changes.
The Bio-Spheres are exceptional at fostering bacterial colonies in the form of Bio-Nano Composite Films, enabling various species of bacteria and fungi to thrive on their expansive surface area. This includes nitrifying bacteria (such as those from the genera Nitrosomonas, Nitrosococcus, Nitrobacter, and Nitrococcus), yeast, and phototrophic prokaryotes, among others.
