The MiG-29 Fulcrum is an agile twin engine fighter known for maneuverability and frontline service in many air forces; designed by Mikoyan-Gurevich as a counterpart to western fighters. Our panels come from a Ukrainian MiG-29 BORT Number White 05, Serial Number 2960728125 - salvaged from the crash site and repurposed into our TransportTags in 2025.
This air frame was loaded for a strike with an AGM-88 HARM adapted for use on a MiG-29 and was tasked against a Russian SAM site.
During that operation on 7 January 2023, the aircraft was lost in a friendly fire incident when it was engaged by a Ukrainian SAM battery in a friendly fire incident. Evidence at the crash site - notably the absence of the canopy - and multiple reports indicate the pilot most likely executed a successful ejection. Ukrainian authorities have limited public details to protect operational security as to what happened on that day.
For this release we are again offering the Recon Imagery Set — a limited edition pairing of a 13" x 19" acid‑free matte art print (white border, unframed, numbered and signed) alongside an authentic, rough‑cut unengraved piece of the MiG-29 mounted to a PVC TransportTag card. Each aircraft piece will be unique; prints and MiG-29 pieces are not available separately. Production is strictly limited. As a side note, none of the MiG-29 tags or Recon Imagery Sets will go on sale during Black Friday.
