SKU: FKM/SP20BRN
These straps are a premium alternative to our silicone NATO straps, designed for users who want greater durability, comfort, and long-term performance. Constructed as a single-pass 20mm rubber strap with two retaining loops, they offer a secure fit while maintaining a clean, tactical appearance.
Manufactured from FKM rubber (Fluoroelastomer), these straps are built to perform in demanding environments where ordinary rubber or silicone straps fall short.
Why FKM Rubber?
FKM is a high-performance synthetic rubber originally developed for aerospace and military applications, where reliability and longevity are critical. It is significantly denser and more durable than standard rubber, with outstanding resistance to water, oils, chemicals, heat, and UV exposure. Unlike conventional rubber straps, FKM is not affected by prolonged exposure to bright sunlight, making it ideal for professional and outdoor use.
As a result, FKM straps are widely favoured by military personnel, police units, and professional divers who require dependable equipment that won’t degrade over time.
