BROTHERS IN THE YUKON, large print and easy to read in full color, is the most complete and comprehensive family autobiography today of the Jacquot and Dickson brothers who settled and tamed the YukonÕs Kluane Lake area wilderness. John Reisenauer, Jr. was immediately caught up in the history of Kluane Lake, his favorite Yukon place, the first time he saw the spectacular blue gem in 1989! How did the large island in the lake get a name like Jacquot he wondered? Learning about the Jacquot brothers lead him to the Dicksons and preparing this manuscript! The Jacquot/Dickson joint venture began with writing the history book of the Kluane Lake area almost immediately after their meeting in 1898, establishing Burwash Landing and the marriage of Eugene Jacquot to Ruth Dickson in 1921. Many of their descendants remain in the Yukon and Alaska today.
