Separately, Vic Galloway, Saleem Andrew McGroarty and 'Philly' Angelo Collins have helped shape the sound of Edinburgh through underground gigs, club culture and broadcasting. They pull on their different influences in Check Masses. While he's a punk at heart, Galloway is a true authority on the diversity of Scottish music, through his 20 years as a BBC presenter and his 2018 book "Rip It Up - The Story of Scottish Pop", the definitive history since the 1950s. Closer to home, "Songs in the Key of Fife" is his first-hand account of the East coast's rich musical legacy, informed by playing in various bands with James Yorkston and King Creosote. Philly moved to Scotland from the Seychelles as a kid and has been in bands since the mid-90s. After EMI signed him for an album he resisted the label's attempts to nudge him into an R&B corner. But with the help of McGroarty as executive producer, he later explored an acoustic path with psychedelic post-rock shades on his self-released debut "Kings and Queens", cut from the shelved EMI tracks. Andy has been an integral figure in Edinburgh's nightlife for years, starting the capital's first hip-hop club The Big Payback with Neil Spence in 1990, and playing at some of the city's seminal clubs, including Lizard Lounge and Chocolate City. He also featured on Sugar Bullet's, "Demonstrate In Mass (One Nation Under A Dope Mix)", the first ever recorded Scottish hip-hop track. He currently produces under the name Sound Signals.

Better pricing than BestBuy’s Geek Squad extended warranty!
Asurion is on of the best extended warranty put there! bar none! I used to buy only from BestBuy because of their Geek Squad extended warranty. But it’s way more expensive compared to Asurion. although with Asurion they require so much paper work and pictures first.

They refunded the amount. We just had to send it to them 2 times before they did.
We bought a printer and it was having issues from the beginning. We thought at first it had to do with the WIFI, so we didn't say anything, but then more things were going wrong. I talked to the manufacturer, who said it needed to be replaced but we had to go through Asurion. Asurion "fixed" it and sent it back but we had our doubts. Sure enough, it was within the same month we were sending it in again.
This time they just gave us an amazon gift card for the entire amount we had paid. Thankful for the warranty. They ultimately did the right thing, I just wish we could have gotten it done faster.

Asurion worked as intended.
After three years, my monitor failed. Asurion paid to send it to a repair center. I didn't save the box the monitor came in, and paid $23 to have it packaged up. They kept me informed of the various steps, such as en route, arrived, testing, and repair started. They discovered it could not economically be repaired and refunded my purchase price. The entire process from me telling them it was broken until the refund took 5 days. I am well satisfied with the service.
