Care
General Maintenance: Repot every 1-2 years in early spring or late winter. Propagation is done by cuttings. Allow the cuttings to dry out on a paper towel for 2-3 days before planting in soil.Temperature: 18°C to 25°C is the best temperature to keep them. Indoor temperatures will allow this plant to thrive.
Light: For best growth, place in a sunny windowsill that receives 3-4 hours of sunlight per day at minimum. With this amount of light it should flower happily!
Watering: Crown of Thorns is very forgiving of drought, but has a very low tolerance to overwatering. It is considered a succulent, so water sparingly. Water only when the top few inches of soil is dry, and water until it drains out of the bottom of the pot.
Fertilizer: Fertilize with a half-strength liquid fertilizer once a month during the growing season (April - August).
Soil: A sandy, well-draining soil, such as a cactus/succulent blend, will allow these guys to thrive.
