This book was supposed to be part (chapter one) of Volume II of my book ÒMRCP(UK) and MRCP(I) Part I Best of FivesÓ; Volume I was published in March 2022. For certain reasons, I couldnÕt complete Volume II, which was supposed to be published in the 2nd half of the year 2022. However, this rheumatology chapter was almost complete. I decided to update it.

In writing this book, I have tried to focus on the most important updates in rheumatology that have been emerging during the past decade. COVID-19, womenÕs health, and pregnancy will be encountered. In addition, the most important examination themes have been targeted.

Read every question very well. Check out your answer; each question has an objective. Each answer is followed by an explanation and a reference and/or additional (further) reading. In this way, you can go there; skim the whole subject if you are interested in getting more information.

I did my best to avoid regurgitated subjects and themes (which have been encompassed by many books, including mine, during the past 20 years). I believe these questions (and their explanation) will strengthen your background and help you prepare well for the part II written examination. Remember, the goal is to find and fill in the gaps in your knowledge.

As with all stuffed toys, supervision is needed.
I have a 6 month old standard size Golden Doodle who has gone through several raccoon toys. He loves their tails and to make them squeak. He knows the word raccoon, so when the last one “died”, I had to get another. This one is well made and has a magnificent tail. It did not take long, however, for Marvin to amputate two of the raccoon’s feet and pull the stuffing out. Luckily, I was able to get it from him before he swallowed any, and was able to sew up the injuries and return it to him for another round of play. I do not expect more from a stuffed toy, but I do not leave my dog alone with one and accept that supervision is always necessary. This raccoon is charming and when it “dies” I will probably buy it again. Five stars!

My Cardigan Corgi loves this toy!
My 33-lb. Cardigan Corgi loved her raccoon toy so much that she finally tore off its tail and I had to get her another one. Good toy for a medium-sized doggo.

.
Bought this because the picture looked like one my dog already has (he carries it around everywhere but it has a hole so I wanted a new one). It looks very different in person and is a lot bigger than I expected although it's still a cute toy. Just didn't look like I thought it would!
