Releasing his first ever vinyl release El Sunset on James Holden's, Border Community back in 2007, Chilean producer Ricardo Tobar has since been held in high regard by the seminal UK producer. Continuing to extend his already significant discography, he now returns to Musar for a third time with the After The Movie EP. Ricardo's EP forms a selection of cuts that have been held in his locker for quite some time. Uncovered by Musar label head, David on a podcast from way back, it seemed only natural that this unreleased music from Ricardo would find it's home on the Amsterdam-Tel-Aviv label. Tobar on the release: "This EP is quite special to me because it reflects a long timeline in my work. The 'After The Movie' track had been in the vault for ages until David from Musar found it in an old podcast; it really takes me back to those first steps in recording music." Across his EP, Ricardo plays with varying textures and arrangements that in turn provide a cross-section of his sound that has expanded and developed over time. "After The Movie" presents the experimental ambience synonymous with his early works, whilst "Parques" brings an idyllic, cinematic feel with strictly crafted synth arrangements riding high, post-rock influences also show through. "Regain Your Power" represents a change of course, whilst also channeling a political message punctuated by social unrest taking place in Ricardo's home country, Chile. He abandons experimentalism in favor of tougher 4x4 elements, allowing his machines to run riot. "The mixture of ideas and feelings on this EP have a politically charged spirit, as electronic music always does. A few weeks after I finished 'Regain Your Power' the whole Chilean social explosion took place with the same ideals I had in mind when recording the track." Stepping up on the remix is a pair whose names are etched into the history of UK electronic music, Andy Turner and Ed Handley, aka Plaid. Reworking title track "After The Movie", they produce an emotive, soundscape complete with droning basslines and ex-terrestrial flourishes.

Sturdy aggressive chew toy.
Color: Green
Sturdy aggressive chewing dog toy. My 8 year old Rott loved it. Non-stop chewing for 1st day. Usually only buy her Kong toys, and based on reviews decided to try this one. Great product.

Not really indestructible if it’s plastic
Color: Green, Color: Green
We received this toy yesterday evening and in about 10 mins of giving it to my dog(Labrador) He was able to bite into the plastic parts. I had to take it away from him. So this product is not for aggressive chewers. In fact any dog small or big can bite into the plastic parts. Now when my dog plays with toys he focuses more on the ends of the toy if he deems it to be a chew toy. So he hasn’t gone to the squeaky part yet as I had to take it away from him.

Dearly departed
Color: Green, Color: Green
This toy lasted two sessions. Two. Sessions. I don't really fault the toy. I fault the dipstick in the donut suit.
Our dog did love this toy.
He did look extremely cute carrying a caterpillar around.
We did worry about property damage when he would joyfully toss the toy.
I find the claim of "indestructible" to be exaggerated.
We had some very tense minutes when we couldn't find the caterpillar's head. We kept looking at dog ingress points and dog eggress points with more and more worry. He did NOT swallow the head, it had rolled under a piece of furniture. He is blissfully unaware of how lucky he is.
If he was half his size, this would have been a marvelous toy.

Chew toy that holds up to aggressive chewers
Color: Green
Bought this for my 85 lb aggressive chewer. She loves this toy and gnaws on it constantly. My only complaint is that she likes to bring it to bed with her and I have to listen to "chomp, chomp, chomp" while falling asleep!

It lasts!!!!
Color: Green
My dog LOVES this toy! He's a very aggressive chewer and so far this is the only toy that has lasted him. My guess is that he will eventually destroy it, but not for a very long time. He chews it so much that it gets "spikey" from all the chewing, but so far it's the only toy I gave found that lasts him. I've replaced it once because it gets yucky looking after all the chewing but that's my choice. I definitely recommend thus one for an aggressive chewer!
