La Folie from Iron Orchid Designs is reminiscent of stepping into a historic French Chateau at Christmastime, where elegance and quaintness mingle in the candlelight. You’re invited to a prestigious Christmas Ball, and you walk in to see warm, glowing chandeliers, elaborately painted wall panels, and merriment in every corner of the room. The walls are decked with winter foliage in swags of lavish greenery.
This Paint Inlay was inspired by a primitive French wall covering, lovingly recreated and named after the building where the original once resided. The collection is distinctly primitive French folk, with dainty and delicate details woven throughout. There’s something both merry and sophisticated about it, like a joyful waltz through a classic French Chateau dressed for winter.
Use La Folie to create romantic small decor sets with floral borders and botanical swags, or pair it with creamy ivory chalk paint on a tray or IOD Wood Arch for an elegant French relief. Embellish a chippy vintage bench or chest for a timeless piece that introduces French countryside charm to your home all season long.
La Folie is a Limited Edition so grab one while you can!
Iron Orchid Designs Paint Inlays are new, ground-breaking, premium art products that can empower creative exploration across all skill levels.
They are the artisanal answer to decor transfers - they're not a decal, they're not a synthetic film, they're not decoupage.
When applied the paint from the Iron Orchid Designs Paint Inlay is physically embedded into the surface of your project. After drying, the carrier paper is removed leaving an authentic painted design and a buttery almost leather-like surface on your piece.
Iron Orchid Designs Paint Inlays are made from proprietary artist-quality paints which produce a uniquely beautiful aesthetic each time they're used. They can be used more than once producing a faded and vintage effect as they wear. The paint is active until sealed which means it can be manipulated or customised until you seal.
Iron Orchid Designs La Folie Paint Inlay contains 8 x 12" x 16" sheets.
