2017 release. When squirming black mold in a dingy Bayshore, CA, warehouse became sentient, creaked and took humanoid form it created Blank Square and their singularly odd-punk debut, Animal I - sounding like the weirder end of Flesheaters but with a sterility that can only be contemporarily compared to Total Control's Aussie hardcore no-wave and then with a pinch of what made DNA and Mars amazing. This album is captured with plenty of concrete and sheet metal kept in the mix and a highlight towards dissonant syncopations, as if it was recorded in a empty room minus one chair and definitely down a flight of wet, cement stairs. Featuring saxophone with a mild but nauseating-at-times rippling slap delay, the band cruises on a rhythm section that sounds like they've got another house show to play tonight after this one. Rectangular in all the right places, it's uncomfortable, like sleeping in a car. For listeners who love art in their sax punk, reaching way back into California's punk history (SST would've undoubtedly dug this). There you go, weirdos.

GOOD FOR PICNICS AND PARTIES
This bulk package of 8 oz paper cups would be a good choice for parties, picnics, weddings, showers, or any other celebratory event. They are not too thick but they are also not too thin, but I’m not sure how they would hold up with hot liquids for extended periods of time. I would not use these for my coffee. But for regular parties with cold drinks, they would be ok.
I do think the pack is over-priced.

Great for 8 oz cups, don't leak
This is a big pack of cups. The cups are sturdy paper, and they don’t crush easily when held in the hand. They don’t seem to be coated with wax, but they still endure quite well. I left a cup sitting out overnight with water in it, and it didn’t soak through or leak. That is just over 6 cents per cup.
These are 8 ounce cups, which is a moderate size. If you were throwing a party for adults, they would need to get refills often. These are perfect size for kids. The cups come in 6 plastic sleeves, that are each closed with a twist tie. The plastic they are wrapped in is pretty sturdy, and won’t rip easily, unlike the plastic sleeves that some cups come in. It’s convenient that you can unwrap only what you need at a time.
These cups are a reasonable price, currently priced at $19.99, on Amazon, for 300 cups, in July of 2024. That is just over 6 cents per cup. These are a good quality cup for a reasonable price, just keep in mind that the cups are pretty small for adults.

Sturdy & worth it
These plates are super sturdy and reliable! I’ve used them for parties and everyday meals, and they hold up really well—even with heavier or messy food.
They don’t get soggy or bend easily, which is a huge plus. Makes cleanup so much easier without worrying about spills.
Definitely a go-to for gatherings or busy days!

perfect size
purchased for entertaining when I need convenience and quantity. good for larger gatherings- they look good, hold a lot of food without leaking. Strong enough to carry loaded with food without sagging, thick enough to cut meat and not cut through the plate. Can warm up food in microwave and not worry. After the party just toss in the garbage for easy clean up. I will continue to buy these plates.
