Exemplaire Sur Chataignier No 1712
The Stranger, also published in English as The Outsider, is a 1942 novella by French author Albert Camus. Its theme and outlook are often cited as examples of Camus' philosophy, absurdism, coupled with existentialism; though Camus personally rejected the latter label.
The title character is Meursault, an indifferent French settler in Algeria described as "a citizen of France domiciled in North Africa, a man of the Mediterranean, an homme du midi yet one who hardly partakes of the traditional Mediterranean culture." Weeks after his mother's funeral, he kills an Arab man in French Algiers, who was involved in a conflict with one of Meursault's neighbors. Meursault is tried and sentenced to death. The story is divided into two parts, presenting Meursault's first-person narrative view before and after the murder, respectively.
The Stranger's first edition consisted of only 4,400 copies, which was so few that it could not be a best-seller. Since the novella was published during the Nazi occupation of France, there was a possibility that the Propaganda-Staffel would censor it, but a representative of the Occupation authorities felt it contained nothing damaging to their cause, so it was published without omissions. However, the novel was well received in anti-Nazi circles in addition to Jean-Paul Sartre's article "Explication de L'Étranger".

Works great, keeps the light out of my eyes and easy to put together
Size: 1 Panel, Size: 1 Panel
I got this room divider in and it works great. It’s really easy to put together you don’t even need tools. I really like that it’s not see through, it’s not a black out curtain but it keeps light out pretty good.
I absolutely hate my bedroom layout there’s no bathroom door. My girlfriend and I have different work schedules so I’m trying to sleep while she’s getting ready for work and the light shines right in my eyes. This divider keeps the light out of my eyes and that’s exactly what I was hunting for. I also like that you can adjust the length. I took one of the bars out to make it a little shorter and it worked great.
I would recommend this room divider.

Excellent room divider
Color: Black, Size: 8 Panel
I have three of these from this company! 2 of them are 6 panel and one 8 panel (this one). A+ quality and wonderful with privacy. I have this on my screened in balcony and it withstands the wind pretty well. Fits right behind my giant plant pots. No assembly needed and it was long enough to cover the entire screened area. No more nosy neighbors! Great for
Condos! Woohoo!

Great Divider
Comes assembled. It is heavy, but fairly easy to move and use. I’m 5’4, 110 and I can do it myself. It’s thick, it’s tall, it looks good, not sloppy or cheap. Doesn’t smell. Great room divider. We use it for our office between our desks.

Good purchase
Color: White, Size: 8 Panel
I bought this in white for use in a finished basement to hide equipment on the wall and create a nice space to place a bed. Because it doesn’t need to be moved and the room is temperature controlled, I expect it to last for a long time. The screen is pretty and I like that the woven material is not easily breakable. I’m pleased with the purchase.
