Es-K is also known for his monthly Spontaneous Grooves releases, where a set of instrumental tracks are created in one sitting, the result being truly 'spontaneous' and diverse. This exemplifies Es-K's prolific and workman-like ethos of beat-making, with creative and top notch hip hop soundscapes constantly pouring out of his Vermont studio. Passages is Es-K's 2016 release for Cold Busted and it shows his growth as a rhythm-obsessed music producer. With guitar and occasional keys by friend Max Bronstein-Paritz and a couple of crucial studio collaborations with fellow Vermont beat-maker Loupo, Passages adds extra depth and musicality to Es-K's drum mechanics. The album opens wistfully with "IEV", offering a minute and a half of instrument textures and snatches of percussion before the full beat kicks in. "Monastic" showcases Max's funky guitar contribution, "Elevation" features some deep bass line play, and "Mistakes Made" is filled with melodic layers and melancholic moods. These are just some of the highlights from this twelve track album... Es-K satisfyingly goes beyond the beats throughout.

I Smell Like a Gentleman Who Owns a Fireplace

The fragrance is warm, woody, and slightly sweet...that low amber note that smells expensive without trying to smell expensive, which, as we all know, is the actual expensive smell. My wife walked past me twenty minutes post-shower and said, unprompted, "You smell really good." I nodded like I had planned this.
The lather is genuinely rich; squeeze a modest amount and it blooms into a thick, creamy foam that covers everything efficiently. The texture is silky rather than watery, which matters more than people admit. Watery body washes feel like rinsing off with slightly scented regret. This one feels intentional. It cleans, and your skin actually feels clean afterward, not just rinsed. And the moisturizing? I wasn't expecting it. No greasy film, no lotion-begging dry patches by midday. Just quietly softer skin that doesn't make a big announcement about it.
Now, my honest gripe: the scent longevity has a ceiling. By mid-afternoon you're back to neutral. That's the gap between four stars and five for me. For daily freshness and an incredible morning window of smelling genuinely great, it absolutely delivers...but it won't carry you to bedtime.
On value: 16 fl oz is decent, the lather is efficient so the bottle lasts, and the price sits in that sweet spot where you feel like someone who makes slightly elevated but still reasonable choices, which is exactly the vibe this entire product is going for.

Lathers great for a small amount! A fair price for the amount and rich content. I just bought, used and love it. Definitely will purchase again. I love the sophisticated yet sensible smell doesn't overpower. In my perception it is a unisex scent as I am a woman and bought for myself.

Smells Like You Have Your Life Together

Cremo Body Wash with Italian Bergamot, Neroli Blossom, and Fresh Vetiver smells far more expensive than it has any right to. The scent hits that sweet spot between fresh and refined. Cremo’s body wash for men has become a staple in our household. The product exudes a luxurious feel, from the rich lather to the clean, long-lasting scent that genuinely resembles a more expensive fragrance.
This body wash possesses a pleasant aroma of cardamom, papyrus, and most notably, palo santo. It features a warm, woody, and spicy scent, which is one of my preferred fragrance notes. Notably, the scent is strong without being overpowering. Additionally, I appreciate the aesthetic appeal of the bottle.
