Vintage planter pot from Shanxi province, China.

These hand-shaped clay vessels were traditionally used for everyday domestic purposes and have developed a rich patina over time. The deep, earthy tones and subtle variations in texture reflect years of use and exposure, giving each piece a quiet, sculptural presence.

The softly rounded form and thick rolled rim create a sense of weight and balance, making them equally beautiful as functional planters or as standalone decorative objects.

Each piece is unique, with natural irregularities, surface markings and tonal variations that speak to its age and origin.

Suitable for indoor use. If used for planting, we recommend placing a liner or inner pot to protect surfaces, as these vessels are not guaranteed to be fully watertight.
