Airflow examines and describes the many ways in which modelers and practitioners of a wide range of hobbies and sports (even cricket!) can understand and confront, harness and exploit the physical properties of wind and air. The book's admirable breadth and depth offers something not only for students of many science and technical subjects, but also to the hobbyists and disciples of 'alternative energy'. The book will be of particular interest to the increasing number of people who are hooked on the thrill and excitement of sports such as yachting, aeromodelling, ballooning, car racing, parachuting, kite flying, boomerang throwing, hang gliding, soaring in sailplanes and power flying.Shipping Notes

Wonderful
Format: Board book
Beautiful pictures, smooth pages, and thick flips that can withstand some tugging. I got this for a friend's baby. It makes a great gift. Cute enough to read and reread with your little ones.

Cute picturization
Format: Board book
Like the picturization really really cute sandpiper babies! You might have to come up with your names for the piper babies as the names given peep and piper don't stand out when narrating the story to kids. But it's a cute book to have.

Must have pre-schooler book on kindness/empathy
Format: Hardcover, Format: Hardcover
This is great because it gives lots of tangible acts of kindness that a toddler/preschooler can understand. It has a feel of preventing bullying by encouraging kindness towards your peers at a young age. It touches upon gratitude and empathy. There is a wonderful range of diversity in skin tones and also includes a child with waking aid & one with a hearing aid. Illustrations are bright and basic. Arms & hands of characters are sort of stiff, so while a previous review implies there is something wrong you would really have to be looking closely and making assumptions to find hands between the waist and knees doing anything wrong.
