LP version. Wedge was formed in early 2014 by Kiryk, The Holg, and David, three dedicated musicians and party pals from Berlin, Germany. Named after the first ever stone tool created by the hand of man the group's sound is simple, raw, effective and causes fire if operated the right way... especially live! But besides being a high energy rock n' roll locomotive, Wedge is also capable of writing very catchy original material which, other than with many other bands of that genre, easily meets the standards of their heroes from the psychedelic late '60s and hard rockin' early '70s. So turn on your stereo and check out some tunes here. This debut album, originally released in 2014, features the German classic, vintage, retro rock sound of Wedge. It's a small gem for lovers of Kadavar, Captain Beyond, The Who, Cream, MC5, and all the retro rock scene. Includes one bonus track, "Turn Back Time".

Excellent, inspirational, challenging
Format: Kindle
Stasi doesn't just support her vision that God wants us live joyously with scripture, she acknowledges the challenges to that, the pain we experience in life, and then gives us practical advice for applying God's love through those times to become deeper, better, more loving individuals on the other side. I wish I had read this book before my Daddy was called home, but I guess I wouldn't have been the same person if I hadn't experienced that pain alone. Defiant Joy leads you beyond surface Christianity and challenges you to see God more closely.

Love this book!!
Format: Paperback
This book had me from go…the thought of choosing Joy as an act of defiance, not a denial of reality, resonates with me so deeply! I’m still reading, but I have already gifted two copies to dear friends!

Standing Up for Joy Even When You Dont Feel Like it!
Format: Kindle
Admittedly, i wanted this to be a faster read. I could point my finger at the author, but rather I recognized that God wanted it slow. Just for me. To give me option to savor and hear what He had to say to me about being resilient. And that He is the reason I am resilient.
If you're stuck in your head, stuck in the dark, stuck in a bad relationship (work or home), cant see the way forward, I invite you to pause and sit with this very good read!
