The REDARC Smart Start SBI224D is designed for commercial vehicles, protecting the start battery from excessive discharge while providing 24V DC with a continuous rating of 200A. When the auxiliary battery reaches 26.4V from an external source, the SBI224D will charge the start battery as well. The microprocessor-controlled battery isolator features power-saving technology to prevent high voltage transients, making it preferable over diode battery isolators due to voltage drop issues.
