A virtually unknown spaniel breed that has been around for over 150 years, the Clumber Spaniel achieved a moment of modern-day fame when ?”Brady” won Best in Show at the Westminster Kennel Club dog show in 1996. When that handsome dog smiled into the TV cameras, many Americans got their first glimpse of this charming companion dog. Named for the Duke of Newcastle’s Clumber Park estate in Nottinghamshire, England, the Clumber Spaniel is prized not only for his skill and acumen as a hunting dog but for his clownlike antics and bubbling personality. Breeder Ricky Blackman has written an excellent introduction to the breed in this Comprehensive Owner’s Guide that retraces the breed’s history in England and America, describes the breed’s many unique characteristics (both physical and personality), and offers potential owners sensible advice about the selection, care, and training of a Clumber Spaniel.New owners will welcome the well-prepared chapter on finding a reputable breeder and selecting a healthy, sound puppy. Chapters on puppy-proofing the home and yard, purchasing the right supplies for the puppy as well as house-training, feeding, and grooming are illustrated with photographs of handsome adults and puppies. In all, there are over 135 full-color photographs in this useful and reliable volume. The author’s advice on obedience training will help the reader better mold and train into the most well-mannered dog in the neighborhood. The extensive and lavishly illustrated chapter on healthcare provides up-to-date detailed information on selecting a qualified veterinarian, vaccinations, preventing and dealing with parasites, infectious diseases, and more. Sidebars throughout the text offer helpful hints, covering topics as diverse as historical dogs, breeders, or kennels, toxic plants, first aid, crate training, carsickness, fussy eaters, and parasite control. Fully indexed.Shipping Notes

Withstands big dog
Color: Green Cactus
As a dog mom to two active pups, I’ve gone through a LOT of chew toys over the years and honestly, many of them just didn’t hold up. Some cracked, broke apart quickly, or became rough after only a short time of chewing.
That’s why I was genuinely impressed with the MewaJump chew toy.
Both of my dogs immediately loved it, and what stood out most to me was how durable it’s been compared to other toys we’ve tried. It’s held up really well with aggressive chewing while still seeming safe and comfortable for them to use.
I also love that it keeps them entertained and engaged longer without constantly worrying about pieces breaking off.
Definitely one of the better dog toys we’ve added to our home lately and Molly and Piper would agree.

Not recommended for strong chewers.
Color: Green Cactus
There was nothing wrong with this. But my dog is an absolute destroyer. She makes it her personal mission to annihilate any toy I buy. This did not last 30 minutes. Very cute and good for normal dogs that like to actually have toys to play with. Do not recommend for strong jaw destroyers.

The dogs love this toy. And so far it’s been indestructible with constant playing and chewing

Durable for light to medium chewers - not heavy
Color: Green Cactus
obviously cute. not super durable - lasted a good minute but disintegrates fairly quickly and eventually nothing was left - having to high monitor with a big chewer. (10 mo Great Dane)

Unbelievable toy for aggressive chewers
Color: Green Cactus
Great toy for aggressive chewers! I'm not one to hand out 5 star reviews but this one I 100% believe in. I bought the first one in 2023 and just replaced it because it broke. Now this is not a played with every once in a while, this was played with daily as it is his favorite toy. Very few toys last long but this one has went beyond my expectations. Could not be happier.
