2016 release. The Intended formed years ago in a procrastinator's three-subject notebook during chemistry class. Four longtime friends began passing the time playing music together Kevin Boyer, Larry Williams and Heath Heemsbergen were playing in Tyvek; Glen Morren and Heath Moerland made sounds in Detroit freak-out ensemble Odd Clouds, and after many jams, a band existed. Trying out song ideas, working on a '60s cover, expanding on sketches a few local gigs and a few years pass. The zero-pressure nature of how The Intended began shows up in how the group progressed: a single materialized and the band's vibe was caught perfectly on four track by Chris Durham in his basement practice space. More four track sessions ensued until a bag of unlabelled cassettes made it's way to the studio to be transformed into the debut album: Time Will Tell. Held together by a raw fidelity (those tape warbles and wonky pitch changes aren't plug ins), the songs twist through diversions such as the ebullient blasting of "The Ineffable," the juvenile classroom anxieties of "Dirty Secret," and the spoken revelations of "Beast and the Priest." Straying from Tyvek's punk tendencies, mellow '60s rockers "Don't Wait Too Long" and the title track hit a jangling nerve. Time Will Tell shines a spotlight on the blemishes of youth, somehow embraced with a fearless yet awkward glance.

Fair quality all cotton Oxford with wide choice of colors
Size: Small, Color: Sky Blue
This is real oxford cloth with the warp dyed and weft left white. It's actually 100% cotton. I've ordered several other "100% Oxford" shirts on Amazon that were not. Amazon's own Essentials brand OCBD is better than this Cotton King brand and only half the price, but it is not offered in even a fourth of the colors. I like all the pastels. Amazon's "Stretch" version is not Oxford cloth or cotton at all. These Cotton King shirts are a bit lighter weight than the non-stretch cotton Amazon Oxford shirts which are about the same weight as the original Brook's Brothers or Lands' End "Sail Rigger Oxford" which is their current heavyweight oxford as well as their "Hyde Park" Oxford from the past. The Brooks Brother's USA-made Oxfords may be worth it, but I don't have a use for them. Their imported "Friday" Oxfords are just overpriced. Lands' End has been changing their sources and the fit is inconsistent often with sleeves that are too short and very few color choices. The all-cotton Amazon Oxfords are at least as good as the Lands' End and Brooks Brothers Friday shirts, sell for as little as Lands' End's lowest sale prices, and fit better, but the color choices are few. I've only bought these Cotton King in a few colors the others aren't offering. They're more expensive, but still half the price of the Friday shirts and worth just as much.
