Battersea is here for every dog and cat and has been since 1860. Since its founding, Battersea has rescued, reunited and re-homed over 3 million dogs and cats, placing animals at the centre of everything they do. They believe that every dog and cat deserves the best, and they aim to never turn away a dog or cat in need. Battersea is an iconic institution with a rich and storied history. It is also a modern charity, working to address the animal welfare challenges of the 21st century, with ambitious plans to increase its impact and ultimately help more dogs and cats.
