Planta infloreste rareori. Are nevoie de un loc bine iluminat dar suporta bine si semiumbra. Vara trebuie udata moderat, pe masura uscarii solului, iarna udatul tebuie redus la o data pe luna. Din primavara pana in vara trebuie administrat ingrasamant special pentru cactusi.

Inmultirea se efectueaza primavara sau toamna prin divizare sau prin puieti. Plantele tinere cu 2-3 frunze trebuie indepartate de planta mama si puse in apa sau nisip umed pentru inradacinare. Dupa aparitia radacinilor haworthia trebuie plantata in ghivece, utilizand un substrat din sol argilos. Exemplarele mature vor fi transplantate dupa necesitate.
