Setup Instructions:
Bat houses should be at least 12 ft. off the ground, although 15-20 ft. is ideal.
Do not hang on a tree, instead, use a wooden post, metal pole, or building side.
Try to maintain a 20-30 ft. distance from branches, wires and other obstructions.
Internal temperatures should stay between 80-100 degrees Fahrenheit.
Bat houses do best when they are located within a mile of a body of water.
Do not mount near bright, artificial lighting.
Houses should face south or southeast and require a minimum of 6 to 8 hours of direct sunlight, with morning sun being the most favorable.
