An amazing adaptation of Lovecraft's classic story to manga that changes only what needs to be changed to make the story work in the new format. The plot is the same, the art is incredibly detailed -- almost too much so -- and the changes in the plot are done only to deal with the vast amount of pure narration in the original. And they're intelligently done. This is how to do it. If you liked the original Shadow over Innsmouth, I think it's safe to say you'll love this.

All of the art is incredible. Some really detailed and haunting images. Most pages are black and white, but there are a few awesome images in color throughout the book. The quality of the book itself is great, and it's made with solid paper (not too thin). As someone new to Lovecraft, I really appreciate these versions of his stories which I'm told are true to the original writing.
