Jollie covers in this work the primary doctrine that, Òthe saintsÕ holy calling out of the world, and their afflicted condition in it is, that they are heavenly both in profession and practice.Ó His text is Hebrews 11:16, ÒÉthey desire a better country.Ó He shows that it is the good pleasure of God to appoint this course for his saints though their lives might be filled with suffering and affliction.
