"For me, sampling is like a collaboration," says DJ Yuta Yamaoka, better known to global beatheads as Pigeondust. Residing in Chiba, Japan, Pigeondust spends his days either vinyl-digging or sourcing samples - that is, creating sonic collaborations - from his discoveries. Pigeondust is also a member of the EN TOKYO crew, representing a new generation of Japanese beat-makers who draw from a large variety of genres. In 2015, Pigeondust joined Cold Busted with his fantastic album Moon, Wisdom & Slackness. He now follows up with an ambitious double album titled Way Back When. Way Back When explores a galaxy of hip hop styles throughout it's whopping 36 cuts. The vibe is gritty and street-smart, samples from jazz, funk, world music, and other pathways poured into one groovable stew. "Chienowa" sets the tone with it's tough beat, funk bass pops, and fly-by musical riffs. "Spiral Beat" is also notable for it's arpeggiated jazz loop that shifts into gentle '70s piano soul. And the collaborations aren't exclusive with samples - Turkish producer Ozoyo joins Pigeondust for the drum-twisting nature walk of "Magicnight," and Swiss producer DRWN. Appears on cut-up jazz jam "Intense." There's much to explore here. The album is available from Cold Busted on double vinyl, it's packaging a loving homage to Yo! MTV Raps and it's sought-after trading cards. Each album comes with a Pigeondust trading card complete with artist photo and vital stats. Represent.

So comfortable!
These work great and very comfortable. I put these on with heel moisturizer cream at bed time. Heels were improved overnight. They are washable too!

Just aren’t large enough.
This is a great idea, and I can wear socks over them and not notice they are there. I just wish they came in a larger size. When I put cream around the edges of my heels where the cracks always are, I cannot stretch the socks wide enough to clear the heel without smearing the cream onto my fingers or on the sock cuff. They do stay in place and aren't squishy at all when walking. They smell good too. The price is right. I wore them overnight and my heels were indeed much softer and smoother than before, and felt moist (tacky) where the cream had been. So they do an amazing job, but after using them six nights, they just aren’t large enough for me to put on without a hassle.

yoga socks
I’m a weirdo and don’t like to walk around barefoot. So, these help me feel like I’ve got socks on while allowing my toes to breathe. I just wear them around the house. They can work as flipflop socks for a quick trip to the mailbox.
I do like to randomly hit the occasional yoga pose so the grippiness is helpful in that regard. I have wide feet and have not found the toe openings to be tight or any other fit problems. So far they have survived standard machine washing.Unfortunately, when I first tried on a pair, the material started to rip. I wear a 7-7.5 shoe size. I think these are made for smaller feet. The material is thin and doesn't stretch. The colors are pretty and it's a good price. I have to return them due to being too small. If you have smaller feet, they are worth trying.

My Favorite Style of Yoga Socks — I Love These
There are so many types of yoga socks out there, but this style is my absolute favorite. These toeless yoga socks are perfect: no individual toe slots, crew‑length coverage, and solid grippies on the bottom. I love them so much. They stay put, they feel great, and they give me the barefoot freedom I want without slipping around on the mat. Total win.
