Best Suited For

Dogs that prefer warm, covered sleeping spaces and naturally seek enclosed areas when resting. This bed works especially well for dogs that burrow under blankets, curl tightly while sleeping, or settle better when surrounded by soft structure and reduced external stimulation.

It also suits dogs that become easily distracted by movement, light, or household activity and benefit from having a calmer, more sheltered sleeping environment throughout the day and night.

Sleepy Burrows Dog Bed For Dogs That Prefer Covered Sleeping Space

Many dogs naturally seek den-like sleeping environments when they want to feel calm and secure. You often see this behaviour when dogs burrow beneath blankets, push into sofas, or settle beneath furniture during rest.

The covered hood design helps recreate that sheltered feeling while still allowing your dog to move, reposition, and regulate airflow comfortably. Dogs can curl fully beneath the hood, rest partially covered, or push the opening back if they prefer a more open sleeping position.

The enclosed structure can also help reduce external distractions such as movement, changing light, and household noise, helping many dogs settle more deeply during sleep.

Warm Inchmurrin Fabric For Cosy Daily Comfort

The Inchmurrin fabric has a soft wool-like texture designed to feel warm and comfortable against the coat without becoming excessively heavy or dense. Dogs that naturally seek warmer sleeping surfaces often settle quickly into this type of softer enclosed environment.

The fabric also helps the bed maintain a tidy, structured appearance within shared home spaces while supporting everyday nesting behaviour such as circling, pawing, and burrowing before sleep.

The softer finish creates a cosy sleeping environment while still maintaining enough structure to support repeated daily use.

Flexible Hood Design For Different Sleeping Habits

The hooded structure allows dogs to adjust the sleeping space based on how enclosed they prefer to feel. Some dogs choose to burrow fully beneath the cover, while others prefer resting near the entrance with partial shelter around them.

Because the hood can also be folded back, the bed adapts well to dogs that alternate between curled sleeping and more open resting positions throughout the day.

This flexibility helps the bed remain suitable across different seasons, temperatures, and individual sleeping habits without losing the secure den-like feel that many dogs prefer.

Breathable Waterproof Interlining For Everyday Practicality

The breathable waterproof interlining layer helps protect the internal filling from damp paws, small accidents, and everyday moisture while still maintaining a soft, flexible sleeping environment.

Unlike noisier waterproof materials, the interlining is designed to remain discreet and comfortable without affecting the calmer enclosed feel of the bed.

This added protection helps preserve the internal structure and freshness of the sleeping area between washes, making the bed more practical for long-term everyday use.

Sleep Behaviour And Settling Support

Dogs often settle more consistently when they have one predictable sleeping space associated with calmness, warmth, and security. The enclosed burrow-style design helps reinforce those associations by creating a more sheltered resting environment away from constant household stimulation.

Dogs that struggle to fully relax in open spaces frequently benefit from softer surrounding structure and reduced visual exposure during rest. The covered shape helps many dogs switch from alert behaviour into deeper, more settled sleep.

Consistency also matters. Keeping the bed in the same quiet location helps dogs build stronger routine associations with the sleeping space over time.

Placement And Daily Routine Guidance

Placement directly affects how quickly dogs adopt a burrow-style bed. Most dogs settle more consistently when the bed sits near their owner but slightly away from heavy walkways, draughts, and frequent interruption.

Corner placement often works especially well because surrounding walls combine with the hooded structure to create an even more enclosed resting environment.

If your dog hesitates at first, leave the hood slightly open and allow them to explore the bed naturally without pressure. Small adjustments to placement usually work better than moving the bed repeatedly between rooms.

Removable Cover For Practical Everyday Care

The outer cover is removable and machine washable according to care instructions, making routine cleaning more manageable in homes with shedding, muddy paws, or regular daily use.

Allow all components to dry fully before reassembly to help preserve loft, structure, and overall comfort. Between washes, lightly shaking the bed and removing loose hair helps maintain freshness and appearance.

Routine care helps preserve both hygiene and the supportive den-like structure that makes the bed effective for calmer rest.

Choosing The Right Size

Choosing the correct size helps maintain the enclosed comfort that supports calmer settling. If the bed is too large, some dogs may lose the den-like benefit. If it is too small, comfortable repositioning during sleep can become difficult.

Measure your dog while resting in their usual sleeping position and allow enough space for turning and movement while still maintaining a secure enclosed feel.

Medium: 30.2 inches long x 19.5 inches wide
Large: 36.5 inches long x 23 inches wide
Extra Large: 42.5 inches long x 28.5 inches wide

Safety And Everyday Use

Use indoors on a flat surface and inspect the hood, seams, and fabric regularly for signs of wear, particularly in homes with dogs that scratch or chew bedding before settling.

If structural damage appears, replace the bed to maintain safe use. If any material is swallowed, contact your vet for advice.

Baby bumps and bodyguards
Format: Kindle
Dark, emotional, and unexpectedly tender, Not Ready is an omegaverse romance that delivers found family feels, fierce protectiveness, and a very pregnant heroine who refuses to break. Vale’s on the run from a stalker, but lands in the arms of three private security alphas, cue the swoony tension, fake marriage twist, and slow-burn heat. It’s a little gritty, a little soft, and a whole lot addictive. If you love protective alphas, high stakes, and heroines with quiet strength, this one’s a must-read.

Strong Omegaverse Comfort and a Attention Grabbing Plot
Format: Kindle
Jillian West never misses when it comes to Omegaverse, and Not Ready is no exception. This story was the perfect blend of cozy comfort and emotional depth while still delivering a strong plot. Vale is such a powerful heroine, she is strong, capable, and determined but I love that she still allows her pack to love and take care of her. It’s that balance of independence and vulnerability that makes her so relatable. The relationship dynamics were amazing: Bishop is steadfast and completely head over heels, Mercy is skeptical but protective in his own way, and Holt is the hesitant one whose slow fall is so satisfying to watch unfold. The romance hits that sweet spot between insta-love and cautious build, keeping me hooked the entire way through. And that ending. Oh my god, the cliffhanger! I need the next book in this duet immediately.

Interesting
Format: Kindle
So I will say I enjoyed the story, for sure had its moments where it dragged but it was a great story. I really liked that omegas picked their alphas/make the pack. Normally the Alphas make it and the omega fits in with them which is great but I enjoyed this new version where all the power basically went to the omega. It was a nice change of pace. I can admit some of the weird bedroom stuff with her being pregnant was odd, it’s really not hard to do stuff when pregnant (I know I’ve had two and it’s normal and even encouraged at the end especially if you want the baby out). But I like the story as a whole and will read the second, I do hope the next one isn’t dragged bc it stopped being action or tense after she met her alphas and I don’t think it was brought up or properly done when they tried to do it. More sweet after she left.

I’m a little disappointed.
Format: Kindle
I usually like Jillian West’s books but this one was missing a lot for me. The pregnancy didn’t come across as real. She’s on her feet for 12 hour days but is perfectly healthy at 8 months pregnant? Yet the week she moves in all of a sudden she’s not? She is planning on actually running during one of the plot buildups. But at 8 months pregnant that’s incredibly hard to do. The lack of breathing ability and lung space, the change in body center, mass, and gravity. All of it prohibits running, unless you’re an athlete this didn’t come off as at all realistic. I didn’t feel any connection with the alphas. There wasn’t any emotional connection. It could be because of the tense it was written in. But I didn’t get any deep feelings out of this. It came across as checking off boxes. Even the spicy scenes weren’t really believable for me. I wanted to see them fall for her, and it just kind of all fizzled. Even Bishop. One thing I did really like was the ending. I did not see it coming and I’m interested in reading book two because of it. But on the whole this book was mostly disappointing for me.

4.25 stars

Vale is an 8 month pregnant omega working as a waitress at a strip club and a cam girl. She starts to get very creepy vibes from a regular at the club, and her baby daddy ghosted her. She has had an online relationship with a man named Bishop through her cam girl status. One night, bishop was paying to watch her sleep and ansthe creepy regular Andrew break in and watch her sleep he tells vale to come to him at his business now. She flees and finds herself at a large security company with some.hot of alphas who are there to help her. This imegaverse is a little different than I have read, but I am thoroughly enjoying it. Vale is not a traditional omega she was raised by a single beta mom, and the alphas are not normal alphas they have never really loved pack life. But they are ruthless mercenaries. They need her, and she needs them. I love the aspect of the stalker and now the plot twists at the end, so so good. Sometimes, it seemed a little slow and stale mated, but since this a duet, I think It was just her starting to have Vale get to know her alpha suitors. Cliffhanger for sure with this one.
