It actually makes it easier to tuck everything neatly behind the couch without cords being stretched. The power strip feels solid and well made, not flimsy, and I like knowing it has surge protection for the electronics I have plugged into it. Overall, it does exactly what it’s supposed to do. The USB ports are a nice bonus and charge my devices at a decent speed. My main gripe is that some of the AC outlet slots are noticeably stiff and tight, making it genuinely difficult to plug certain things in — I had to use a bit more force than I was comfortable with on a couple of them. It loosens up slightly with use but out of the box it was more of a struggle than it should be. Not a dealbreaker but something worth knowing especially if you're plugging in bulkier adapters. Overall a good functional surge protector for a home office or dorm room setup at a very reasonable price
