The "POP MART TOUR," which caused a stir with one of the largest stage sets in the world at the time, was a world tour tied to the album Pop released in 1997. The first show of the tour took place on April 25 at the Whitney Sam Boyd Stadium on the outskirts of Las Vegas, Nevada. This performance, a dress rehearsal held the day before on April 24, is now fully presented in a complete in-ear monitor soundboard recording. It was said that the album's completion was delayed, leaving insufficient time for rehearsals. The dress rehearsal captures the tension and energy of a full-scale, live show as the band checked the stage movements and visual technologies required for the enormous set.
