Spectrum Spools is pleased to release the debut album by veteran musician Toko Yasuda's Plvs Vltra project. Toko has been working for years already in established pop acts such as Enon, Blonde Redhead and now touring with St. Vincent handling synthesizer duties for live events. In all her years of songcraft there have been sparse, if any solo output, until now. Parthenon is a sugar-sweet album of catchy pop songs, crafted with expert precision and outstanding composition logic. Everything is locked in in a way that seems at once like clockwork, and also somehow very free. As if Alice Coltrane's Universal Consciousness was sent into the future to be reimagined as an electronic pop record. Most of the album's focus lies on the glowing, ethereal voice that is unmistakably exclusive to Yasuda. Swirling, fine-tuned electronic washes and collaged clouds of ambiance swirl and hover around these mega-catchy tunes giving them a fantastic depth which commands attention and repeat visits. Yasuda's songcraft here is in peak form as well, with ultra-catchy hooks and addictive melodies that have been dialed in to perfection over the many years of making music. One of the most brilliant facets of Parthenon is the anti-genre omniverse vibe, where all borders and boundaries set to confine music to a general one-word descriptor are shattered. "Pop" is a word abused to catch-all, and like any great, well-thought album, Parthenon refuses to be pinned down. Here is your summer jam! Lovingly mastered and cut by Rashad Becker at Dub plates and Mastering.

Great buy
Color: Brown
I am able to put two 27in monitors on it, pretty straight forward assembly, the stand looks quality as well. It has really helped me with the mess on my table, now my table looks kempt and organized.

Pretty good for the price
Color: Brown
Honestly great quality from what it came in and I love how affordable it is. Though my one complaint is that they don't have rubber tabs underneath the legs so it just slides off pretty easily but other than that being an easy fix it"s not bad assembly was easy and it freed up a lot of room on my desk

Original review:
Received it today, packaging and everything seemed perfect. Looked over all the pieces and they seemed OK. Took a bit to assemble but not bad.
The design and construction are great. It looks awesome for my setup as you can see in pics. Really love this, or at least what it's supposed to be if everything was perfect. However, once assembled, upon closer look, I was just so disappointed. I just couldn't believe it. The bottom shelf on the left side is pretty messed up (refer to pics). Also on the right side but not quite as noticeable. Not sure what to do here, I don't think I can deal with this especially at the $100 price point. If it was in the back, I wouldn't care too much. But of course it's right in the very front just staring at me lol... I'm pretty bummed out, probably returning this unfortunately.

Fits amazing!
Color: Brown, Color: Brown
Fits just right, like a glove on my desk. Make sure you take measurement on the width, it is long. Saves a lot of space. Easy to assemble, but make sure you’re aligning the front with the front on the 1 & 2. Sturdy, amazing quality.
