    XDFly HPro 85A SBEC

A high performance programmable 85A brushless ESC for 380-420 class helicopters and model aeroplanes.

    ESC FEATURES

    • Suitable for the vast majority of brushless motors powered aircraft with 3-6S LiPo/Li-ion/LiFe batteries.
    • High-performance microprocessor for precise governor function (maintaining constant speed) and super soft start.
    • Synchronous rectification technology significantly improves throttle response and power stage control efficiency, reduces controller temperature.
    • Powerful switching power stabilizer BEC with output voltage adjustable in the range of 6-12 V and of 10 A continuous current.
    • Extensive programming options with a wide range of adjustable functions and parameters.
    • Flight modes: Helicopter (Ext Governor), Helicopter (Store Governor), Aeroplane.
    • Governor program with adjustable P/I governor parameters provides excellent constant speed control, ensuring stable main rotor speed even with sudden load changes.
    • Flight data logger records maximum speed, minimum voltage and maximum temperature during flight.
    • Independent port for tachometer signals in helicopter modes, in airplane mode allows reversing the motor for effective braking after landing.
    • Independent programming port for programming the ESC or setting parameters using the XDFly Multifunction LCD Programming Box or XDFly Bluetooth® module. The ESC supports wireless parameter setting using a mobile application, Mikado VBCT/E, Rotorflight2, Jeti transmitters.

    • A variety of protection functions: abnormal power supply voltage at power-on, start-up control, overheating, throttle signal loss, overload, low voltage, overcurrent.

    PROGRAMMABLE FUNCTIONS

    • Flight Mode: Allows you to select programs for aeroplanes, helicopters (with an external governor or completely without governor) or helicopters (with internal Store governor).
    • Cut-off Voltage: The threshold level of the voltage protection is adjustable in the range of 2.7-3.6 V/cell, the protection can also be turned off completely.
    • Timing: Automatic or adjustable in the range of 0-30°.
    • BEC Voltage: The output voltage of the SBEC stabilizer is adjustable in the range of 6.0-12.0 V in steps of 0.2 V.
    • Motor Rotation: Clockwise/Counterclockwise.
    • Governor parameter P: Determines the ability of the controller to maintain a stable speed.
    • Governor parameter I: Determines the dynamic response of the controller.
    • Acceleration: Adjustable values Fast; Normal; Slow; Very slow.
    • Auto Restart Time: Only in ESC Store Governor mode. If you move the throttle control from above 30% to any position between 25% and 30% and then back above 30% before the preset auto restart time has elapsed, the motor will skip the soft start process and begin to rapidly accelerate to the value corresponding to the current signal in the throttle channel and completely restart. If the throttle is below 25% or the throttle control has been between 25% and 30% for longer than the preset auto restart time, the auto restart is canceled.
    • Startup Power: Adjustable values Low; Medium; High.
    • Brake Type: Sets the propeller brake function for aircraft models – normal or reverse (allows reversing the motor using an additional channel with a switch).
    • Brake Force: Adjustable in the range of 0-100% in steps of 1%.
    • SR Function: The synchronous rectification function allows the ESCr to operate with higher efficiency at lower power consumption, thus extending the flight time.
    • Capacity Correction: If the value of the electric charge collected by the controller does not match the actual charge collected, capacity correction can be used to eliminate this discrepancy.
    • Number of Motor Poles: To calculate the motor speed.
    • LED Color: Select the color of the indicator LED.
    • Temp Fan: Turns the smart fan function on/off for controllers with a fan.

The ESC set includes: XDFly HPro 85A SBEC ESC, telemetry connection cable, instruction manual.

Longtime Ironman Wearer -- I Hate This Watch
Color: Black
I've worn the old Ironman 100 Lap Watch for Years I would still be wearing those watches if the Indigo on them didn't consistently fail. My main requisite is large, easy to read digital display, and the ability to turn the Indiglo on 20 seconds a day once or twice to see time in dark. If I could have found a simple watch with a large display made by any other reputable manufacturer I would have bought it instead. I have truly come to dislike Timex because their Indiglo fails so consistently, on (5) different Ironman's I've owned. Doubt this one'll be any better, viewing it a disposable purchase after a year. Unsurprisingly, Timex is an American company, all marketing no quality, and yes I'm an American, looking at something Casio Seiko, Swiss or Japanese made. They get fundamentals right in terms of quality. The band on this is redesigned. Grippier. Tougher to adjust or put on, but more apt to stay on and not slide once on. I'm used to the old band, don't love or hate this new one. I will usually take my watch off while typing for a long time, not as easy to do with this, not a dealbreaker, can see the sense in making a swimming and exercise watchband a bit tougher. I hate the branding on this watch. Bright red Ironman logo on both ends of the band near the watch. Even worse is the Timex and Ironman words ATOP the glass on the watch. This means they throw shadows down onto the watch face below the glass. This effect gets even worse with the magnification underwater. Inexcusable design flaw, simply so some corporation can self-advertise its products. The combination of these two sets of branding make the watch look cheap, gaudy, and inappropriate for any remotely formal wearing. This would not have been the case if it was understated in color scheme. Without the two red marks on the band, and the absolutely moronic decision to place the branding on the watch glass, you have something understated you could get away wearing all the time. Not with the branding. There are also two lines running horizontally above and below the time. I hate these when I'm looking at it underwater. Haven't tried the lap functions yet, I usually open lake swim, maybe the lines help with that, but for my use I hate them. I'm 6'4" tall, people complain the watch is big, it feels to me if anything a bit undersized or the proper size, others may find it big. I would rather have a slightly larger size with bigger numbers. Biggest plus is time SUPER easy to read. I'd love to be able to turn date off and only have time display and nothing else in some mode. I don't need to check the date 6 times a day. Love to have mode where I press one button, upper left say, and date shows for five seconds or something. Indiglo about the same as old big Ironman 100, excellent--when it doesn't break which it almost always does. I have many of these watches where the time still shows but Indiglo never works, Timex themselves admitted to me this is a known problem. The rounder face, versus rectangular, better looks, but wonder if it is optimal way to make most readable. I would pass on this watch. I have always liked Ironman watches, but the branding is so bad, glass especially, and the absymal quality of Timex Indiglo, are unacceptable.

Cool & functional
Color: Pink
Attractive watch. Simplistic, yet cannot understand everything without not having instructions. Watch did no come with instructions, which became hard to figure out all its functions.

Excellent watch
Color: Black, Gray
Great watch. Waterproof and I use the timer all the time. I'm on my 3rd or 4th one over 20 to 25 years. When the battery dies, I just buy another one because at that point in time the band is usually also going bad.

Rugged Watch at Good Price
Color: Black, Gray
I originally wanted a G-Shock but I have a small wrist and G-Shocks come with cases that are too big for my 6.1 inch wrist. An alternative? I bought the Timex Ironman. It has a rugged look and many of the features of a G-Shock but at a lower price. Small wrist? Or don't want to spend the money for a G-Shock? This is your best bet.
