Designed and produced with engineering and finishing advancements, CompStar high performance connecting rods have what it takes to make your engine build trouble free and your finished product reliable. Every detail of this highly-stressed component has been carefully analyzed to maximize repeatability and dependability.

Based on feedback from a variety of highly regarded professional engine builders, Compstar engineers set out to address the most common issues associated with many aftermarket connecting rods.

Callies Compstar Sports Series (SS) connecting rods for racers wanting a premium rod with out breaking the bank. All SS rods are H-beam design machined from fine grained 4340 steel for maximum strength. Wrist pins bushings are of deformation resistant Ampco 18 material. Designed to support a very conservative rating of 800 Horsepower.

The cushioning and support in the heel and arch are excellent. Very comfortable to walk and run in these shoes. Finally, and less importantly, the looks are just OK. The cheap "iron on" Asics logo doesn't look good. I've been purchasing Asics for as long as I have strictly for the performance quality anyway.
