The ÒImperial PhaseÓ is a term defined by Neil Tennant of the Pet Shop Boys to describe a time in an artistsÕ career when they were at their commercial peak Ð when they could do nothing wrong. This book describes the imperial phase of British indie music from the end of the Smiths to the death of Britpop.

He reports they are so comfortable and a great shoe, just know if you are buying for an occasion you might need to exchange for sizing. I would buy at least a full size smaller.
