Beginning with Edition One, “Joy,” each issue showcases a favourite holiday scene from the Painter of Light™ on the surface of a cream-coloured, pillar candle design. Each comes with an illuminating candle which, when activated, flickers realistically at the top and adds a natural glow to the artwork. But the real light show begins at the touch of a switch on the bottom of each candle. You’ll watch with delight as built-in lighting projects a pattern of intricate snowflakes upon the ceiling above the candle. It looks just like a Christmas Eve snowfall drifting across the rooftops of Thomas Kinkade’s welcoming holiday homes!
The bottom of each candle is a hand-cast, hand-painted work of art in itself. Glittery snow extends outward from each Thomas Kinkade painting, taking the scene from a purely two-dimensional image to a more intriguing multi-tiered piece. In Edition one, the sloping hill in front of the Victorian home provides the perfect playground for young sledders to weave in and out of the pine trees. Subsequent editions depict a horse-drawn sleigh arriving home from afar, and a family snowman-building project nearing completion. A layer of glitter-snow, wood-toned display base, and golden title plaque complete the design of these remarkable illuminating candles.
For your convenience, the innovative lighting feature of the Flurries of Light candles is controlled by a 24-hour timer, so it will turn on and off automatically at the same time each night.
