Rather than provide an explicit assessment of Krech's thesis, the contributors to this volume explore related historical and contemporary themes and subjects involving Native Americans and the environment, reflecting their own research and experience. At the same time, they also assess the larger issue of representation. The essays examine topics as divergent as Pleistocene extinctions and the problem of storing nuclear waste on modern reservations. They also address the image of the "ecological Indian" and its use in natural history displays alongside a consideration of the utility and consequences of employing such a powerful stereotype for political purposes. The nature and evolution of traditional ecological knowledge is examined, as is the divergence between belief and practice in Native resource management. Small ingredient list -- BIG taste!

This snack is tasty, given its simple formula of sweet potatoes, turkey, coconut, and soy protein isolate. The bag arrived at the house, and the girls were instantly ready for the latest and newest snack.
There were four treats total in my bag - one for each baby. The smallest one (20 lbs), ironically, disappeared her treat faster than her three larger siblings (40 lbs). The bigger dogs savored their treats with smelling, licking, tasting, and chomping with elation on these tasty new treats.
These chewies satisfy your girls between meals, which I noticed by them not bugging me for food hours before dinner. These seemed to do the trick and hold them over. A great appetizer, in my opinion.

These turkey + sweet potato treats are a hit with my dog.
Likes:
- Good size. Substantial enough to be classified as a "special treat".
- Good ingredients and nutrition.
- Zero issues with digestion.
- Arrived fresh and in great condition.
- Good value.
Dislikes:
- Like most treats, they don't last that long. They are no bully stick--they go faster.
Overall my dog loves these treats!
