Why Seven Nights Changes Everything
A 2-night visit, you can manage with lighter gear. Seven nights is different. Seven nights means your baby needs a proper sleep environment, not a Pack 'n Play shoved in a corner of a resort room, or their sleep schedule (and yours) deteriorates across the week. Seven nights means real mealtimes in the accommodation, not just restaurant dinners where you balance a toddler on your knee. Seven nights means your car seat is in a vehicle every single day.
The Heavy Packer is built for that reality. A full-size crib instead of a travel crib. A video monitor instead of audio-only. A high chair and a rocker because seven nights requires proper infrastructure. And a Canadian-standard car seat for every taxi, transfer, and excursion from Kingston to Montego Bay, Ocho Rios to the Blue Mountains.
What this package saves you
✓ Stroller check-in fee: $35–80 per flight, each way
✓ Car seat check-in fee: $30–60 per flight, each way
✓ Risk of luggage damage to your own equipment
✓ The stress of assembling gear after a long flight with a tired baby
The Canadian Car Seat Standard — Why It Matters on Jamaican Roads
Taxi rides, private transfers, excursions to Dunn's River Falls, day trips along the North Coast, every one of these involves putting your child in a vehicle on Jamaican roads. Most car seats available for rent or purchase in Jamaica are sourced locally, with no verified certification to any North American or European crash standard.
BabyCres sources its car seats from the Canadian market, where CMVSS 213, the world's strictest child restraint standard is mandatory for every seat sold. Every Heavy Packer includes a Canadian-standard car seat. It is the only seat we will put your child in.
Covers: Kingston · St. Catherine · Portmore · Montego Bay · Ocho Rios
Delivery fees vary by location. Airport delivery coordination available for KIN and MBJ arrivals.
BabyCres is Jamaica's only baby gear rental company sourcing car seats from the Canadian market. Every seat meets CMVSS 213 — the world's strictest child car seat safety standard. For Family, For Life.
