Scrabbling for ways to believe in themselves and the world, the spirited, heart-driven people who populate these stories find surprising pockets of hope. A woman returns to the Alaskan cabin of her survivalist childhood, full of misgivings and memories. A trip to Yellowstone sparks a crisis for a man who feels kinship with the wolves he glimpses there. Nursing painful pasts, sisters take a cruise together to Antarctica. A runaway finds salvation from violence in her own singing. And in the title novella, a Grand Canyon rafting expedition profoundly changes the lives of six women. Refusing to buckle under the pressures of family and political traumas, the sojourners in this collection are unified by themes of creative expression and of love--how we define it, how we are impelled by it, and how we are lifted by it.Binding Type: Hardcover

Great Toy for Chewers!
Color: Hammer, Size: 7 Inch
This is one of my dog’s favorite toys! He will chew on it for hours. It is durable and takes him a while to make it indistinguishable as a hammer. No smell to it. The rubber bits do come off so I have to check it and make sure he doesn’t eat them.

Good toy
Color: Hammer, Size: 7 Inch
Solid value for the $. The hammer seems particularly good, my bigger dogs like to hold it down by the head. I bought a 2nd.

Skye loves it!
Color: Hammer, Size: 7 Inch
My heavy chewer loves these! I had to get the whole set because come on! Skye steals ALL my husbands tools so when I saw these and saw they’re real wood! (My dog is a wood chewing machine) (ask my deck) anyway these work and keep his teeth off my furniture! 10/10 recommend!

Unsafe Toy
Color: Pliers, Size: 7 Inch
A waste of money for chewers. Within 10 minutes pieces started breaking off. Unsafe.
