Firefly have taken on board all the comments they received about the Firefly 2, and have put them at the heart of the design of their new vaporizer, the Firefly 2 +. The Firefly 2 + is similar in many ways to the Firefly 2, with some fantastic new features and technology. Firefly's passion for great flavour has continued throughout the design of the 2 + with an upgraded heating system known as dynamic convection heating. This is similar to normal convection heating in the sense of heating the material evenly by not allowing it to come into direct contact with the heating element. However, the dynamic part means that unlike most other portable vaporizers in which you set your temperature and the vaporizer heats at the single steady temperature, the Firefly 2 + dynamically heats across a wide range of temperatures up to your selected maximum temperature, with every draw you take to ensure that the unique collection of terpenes and cannabinoids found in every strain are heated to their individual vaporization temperatures. This is done every time you inhale, resulting in nothing but fantastic flavour everytime. Because the Firefly 2 + is an on-demand vaporizer which makes every inhalation like its own mini session, you don't have to vape the whole bowl at once. You can just leave it, and come back to it as and when you like without worrying about wastage. The Firefly 2 + also has an improved battery life, with it now being able to give up to 70 draws per charge, and with a charge time of just 45 minutes you won't be waiting long to vape again. There is a free app which you can download to your smartphone, which allows you to control the heat settings (if you don't have a smartphone, you can still adjust the settings on the vaporizer), as well as check the battery level and many other features. One of the issues fans and critics of the Firefly 2 raised, was its lack of airflow. Firefly have answered that by adding 33% more to the Firefly 2 +. The Firefly 2 + also has the widest temperature range of any portable vaporizer which ranges from 200°F to 500°F. How to Use
With Dry Herb:
Remove the lid, place your herb in the chamber, and then replace the lid.
Gently press the touch sensors to start the heating process.
Once the logo stops blinking and turns solid green, heating is complete.
Inhale from the mouthpiece for seven to ten seconds.
As long as there is herb in the chamber, you can repeat steps 2 to 4 whenever you like.
With Concentrates:
Remove the lid and place a concentrate pad into the heating chamber.
Dab some wax onto the pad and then replace the lid.
Gently press both touch sensors to start the heating process.
Once the logo stops blinking and turns solid green, heating is complete.
Inhale from the mouthpiece for seven to ten seconds.
