The Human BETAEP (Beta-endorphin) ELISA Kit measures Beta-EP in Human Serum, Plasma, Cell Culture Supernatant, Cell or Tissue Lysate. This kit is based on Competitive-ELISA detection method and takes 2h assay time. The microplate provided in this kit has been precoated with β-EP. β-EP in the sample or standard competes with a fixed amount of biotin-labeled β-EP for sites on a pre-coated antibody specific to β-EP. Free components are washed off. After adding HRP-Streptavidin Conjugate (SABC), biotin specifically binds with streptavidin to form immune complexes. Wash off unbound conjugate. Add TMB substrate solution. Then, TMB was catalyzed by HRP to produce a blue color product that turned yellow after adding a stop solution. Read the O.D. absorbance at 450nm in a microplate reader. Compare OD450 value of sample with the standard curve through curve fitting software to determine the concentration of β-EP in the sample. The concentration of the target substance is inversely proportional to the OD450 value.

When first assembled, it looked exactly like the picture. However, over time, the top bar has begun to bow. The metal bars are weaker than I expected. I don't expect it to last more than a year or two, but I would still recommend this product for those needing something fast, easy to assemble, and don't need for an extended period of time.

I got these dividers for outdoor use for some privacy from neighbors. They arrived quickly and were easy to set up. They look good, and though the legs don’t offer stability against any amount of wind—which I expected as it wasn’t advertised for outdoor use—all it took was placing a cinder block on the feet to hold it up right. Coverage is good, it’s easy to fold and move as needed, and it’s light weight. All in all a decent product. I will caution the purchase of “used like-new,” as both of the dividers I ordered were previously returned items, and one came missing a cap, instructions were not included, and the poles were all mixed up and not properly labeled. If I had not ordered a second divider (which did include the instructions) I would have had a much harder time figuring out which pieces were which and how to put them together.
