In this award-winning, bestselling work of fiction that moves between Haiti in the 1960s and New York in the present day, we meet an unusual man who is harboring a vital, dangerous secret. He is a quiet man, a good father and husband, a fixture in his Brooklyn neighborhood, a landlord and barber with a terrifying scar across his face. As the book unfolds, we enter the lives of those around him, and his secret is slowly revealed. Edwidge Danticat's brilliant exploration of the "dew breaker"-- or torturer-- is an unforgettable story of love, remorse, and hope; of personal and political rebellions; and of the compromises we make to move beyond the most intimate brushes with history. It firmly establishes her as one of America's most essential writers.Binding Type: Paperback

Sad
Color: #03 Champagne
Spray doesn’t work. The spray only worked for a few sprays. I work in the entertaining industry and was looking forward for not just myself but the other girls to use the glitter spray. Out of 30 girls only 3 were able to use it. The spray bottle stopped working. I ordered a replacement and it stopped working also after a few sprays

Best leash we’ve owned in 36 years of dog parenting
Color: Green, Size: Large
Wow! My wife and I have been dog parents for 36 years (six dogs), and this is the best leash we’ve used.
* Two handles: I used to think the second handle was unnecessary—now I can’t go back.
* Comfort: Both handles are padded, so no hand strain on long walks or sudden pulls.
* Tangle-resistant: The swivel between the leash and the loop that goes over the dog’s nose/neck keeps things from twisting, which makes control easier.
* Secure fit: The sizing ring stays put, so it won’t pinch the dog’s nose.
Note: There’s no backup clip to attach to a collar, so a determined dog could slip it if the loop is too loose. Adjusting the ring snugly has worked well for us.
Given the quality and price, I can’t recommend this leash more highly. ★★★★★

Slip lead that doesn't tangled and allows for a greater control
Color: Blue, Size: Large
I'm using this slip lead to volunteer at a dhelter - and what a difference it made! I really like this slip lead leash! Very easy to put it on a pup one-handed, the swivel and second handle make a huge difference! (The main shortcoming of a simpler version of a similar slip lead without a swivel is that it's getting tangled and/or twisted around). This is also high quality item - every detail is thlught through! Very comfortable to use, multiple color options - really nothing negative to complain about! Love this leash!
