In 1855, the Cherry Run Valley was a quiet farming community in Venango County in northwestern Pennsylvania. The small town of Plummerville was the largest settlement in all of Cherry Run. Oil City, then know as Cornplanter, was little more then Hasson s Cornfield and Gristmill. Pithole was the home to several pioneers who had each acquired plots of four hundred acres from the Holland Land Company. However, on August 27 28, 1859, Col. Edwin L. Drake and Uncle Billy successfully struck oil near Titusvilleacross Oil Creek in north Venango County. As the news spread to the world, an onslaught of curious reporters, speculators, and adventurers filled the valley. Farms were bought and leased to investors and then often subleased before a well was even bored. Life was about to change dramatically for the people of the Cherry Run Valley. Images from private, local collections make Cherry Run Valley: Plumer, Pithole, and Oil City a true local treasure. From the earliest days to the first sighting of the new commodity to the migration down the length of Oil Creek, the Cherry Run Valley weathered it all. Plumer remains a beautiful village at the entrance to Oil Creek State Park, and Pithole went from buckwheat farm to boomtown to ghost town and now a popular state museum and park. The shirts run true to size and are very well made.

I want the company COOFANDY and the customers who are considering buying these men's wrinkle free men's shirts for casual business wear, to know that the shirts are beautiful. The material is perfect, and they are made exceptionally well! One of the two shirts that I bought for my husband looks great on him. I had to buy one in a size 2x and one in a size 3x due to the reviews on Amazon's website, where so many of the reviewers stated that the size that they bought ran too small, while other reviewers said the shirt runs too large. My husband tried on the 2x, and it fit him perfectly, which was great because he always wears a 2x. The reason that I am returning them both is that these shirts are tuck-in shirts, and my husband only wears shirts that do not have to be tucked in, such as straight-bottom shirts. I showed him the picture of the shirt in the ad to prove that the models wore them out, not tucked in, but he said the style is wrong for wearing this shirt on the outside, and that he would not be able to wear it. I am so sorry, but I had to return them as he would not ever wear them. But I wanted you, COOFANDY, and your customers to know that the shirts are well worth the money and are just beautiful!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:
My husband is a big fan of this shirt brand—they offer a great selection of styles, patterns, and fabrics, and the availability of a 3XL is a major win since it’s not easy to find that size. This particular shirt has a classy, lightweight feel with a subtle checkerboard texture that adds visual interest under the light.
The fit is modern and breathable, perfect for summer wear. After washing it straight out of the package, the wrinkles from shipping didn’t fall out, so I wouldn’t call it truly wrinkle-resistant just yet. I’m hopeful that a single pass with the iron will help set it right.
