Upgrade your John Deere tractor to a factory-style Sanden A/C system with this OE-grade conversion kit from AP Air. OE vs. Standard Sanden Conversion — What's the Difference?
The 990-4212R is built to original equipment specifications, meaning the compressor mounting, porting, and hardware are matched to John Deere's factory design. This results in a cleaner installation with less adaptation required compared to a universal Sanden conversion kit. If you want the closest thing to a factory A/C system using modern R134a components, this is the kit.
Installation Notes
- Flush the system thoroughly before installing to remove residual mineral oil from the original A6 compressor
- Use PAG oil specified for the Sanden compressor — do not mix with old mineral oil
- Replace all O-rings with HNBR (green) O-rings rated for R134a (included in kit)
- Have the system professionally evacuated and recharged with R134a refrigerant
