Harambe Chipotle – Smoke Signals from a Fallen Legend

This is not a “nice little Chipotle drizzle.” This is hot sauce built to haunt your grill.

Harambe Chipotle comes in swinging with a sharp distilled vinegar snap, then drags you straight into the smoke pit with red chipotle and smoked red jalapeño pepper mash. Think slow-burning campfire in flavor form: deep, earthy, and properly roasted, with just enough heat to remind you you’re alive without turning dinner into a dare.

Granulated garlic and onion load it up with savory umami, while the spice blend and caramel color lock it into that rich, dark, brick-red hue that looks like it belongs on literally everything. Silky, so it grips your tacos, fries, wings, and breakfast burritos like they’re trying to escape extinction.

This is a flavor-first hot sauce: smoky, tangy, and steady-warm. Not a stunt, not a challenge. Just dangerously crushable heat.

Flavor Profile (Hot Sauce Edition):

  • Base: Bright vinegar tang to cut through rich, fatty foods

  • Heat: Smoked red jalapeño & chipotle warmth (not face-melting)

  • Vibe: Campfire smoke, grilled pepper skins, roasted garlic

  • Texture: Smooth, clingy drip that coats every bite

Best Deployment: Tacos, burgers, grilled corn, huevos rancheros, mac & cheese, veggie bowls, pizza, and anything that deserves a smoky tribute from the gorilla gods.

Heat level: 🔥 (1/5)
Warm glow, all-day pour. This is your “put it on everything” smoky hot sauce.

Ingredients: Distilled Vinegar, Red Chipotle, Pepper Mash (Smoked Red Jalapeno, Peppers, Water, Salt), Xanthan Gum, Granulated Garlic, Granulated Onion, Sodium Benzoate, Spices, Caramel Color.

Refrigerate After Opening.

one of the best books I’ve read
Format: Kindle
This book is transformative in how I view everything. There are two categories: people who need to read this book and people who need to read it again.

Started w/ audiobook, now I'm ordering the print too
Format: Paperback
This book is GREAT!! The integration of theory she uses to support her claims is masterful. I began listening to the audiobook, because it was cheaper & I go through a ton of counseling & psych books. I am a grad student in social work, and I'm also a therapy client trying to heal myself. I appreciate that this book targets "chronic shame" which as a central experience to a bunch of issues. The hundreds of books and articles I've researched seem like they were mostly ALL working back to this issue. In a psychology culture that is big on cognitive and chemical solutions to mental health, the relational approach that she emphasizes is critical to the healing process. I appreciate the research she uses from object relations, affect regulation, interpersonal, etc. I purchased the hard copy because 1. I can't underline/highlight an audiobook and 2. I want a copy of the references of theorists and study's that she draws from, because they are pure gold. All therapists need to understand the contents of this book! Unless you are perfectly fine offering band aid solutions. Clients and self-helpers beware. It's not triggering in terms of content, it is activating in the sense that she describes the felt experience of shame SO WELL. I could locate my own felt sense of shame which is, by default, unpleasant. Some stabilization and a decent therapeutic connection is probably necessary before cracking this book open. But that's why I love it. I needed to go deeper and get the core issues. And this book is like a map that guides you right to it.

One of the best books on shame out there
Format: Paperback
As a shame researcher and educator, I often refer to DeYoung's book because it is so full of resources and relational tools for clinicians and individuals relating to the neurobiology of shame. It is a very small book with A LOT of information. Many references to the shame research and suggestions for treating shame in clinical practice from a perspective of right brain relationship dynamics. Thank you Patricia!
