Warraich's elegant and poignant book takes us on an unforgettable journey....He succeeds in humanizing a complex topic. --Siddhartha Mukherjee, New York Times bestselling author of The Gene

There is no more universal truth in life than death. No matter who you are, it is certain that one day you will die, but the mechanics and understanding of that experience will differ greatly in today's modern age. Dr. Haider Warraich is a young and brilliant new voice in the conversation about death and dying. Dr. Warraich takes a broader look at how we die today, from the cellular level up to the very definition of death itself.

The most basic aspects of dying--the whys, wheres, whens, and hows--are almost nothing like what they were mere decades ago. Beyond its ecology, epidemiology, and economics, the very ethos of death has changed. Modern Death, Dr. Warraich's debut book, explores the rituals and language of dying that have developed in the last century, and how modern technology has not only changed the hows, whens, and wheres of death, but the what of death.

Delving into the vast body of research on the evolving nature of death, Modern Death will provide readers with an enriched understanding of how death differs from the past, what our ancestors got right, and how trends and events have transformed this most final of human experiences.

Very good toothbrush
Color: Navy, Color: Navy
They’re very good. Kinda takes a little getting used to at first. The battery lasts for a really long time, I don’t remember the last time I charged mine and it has not failed on me at all. The timer goes on for two minutes with intervals at every thirty seconds which I think is a phenomenal feature. And it comes with a few extras.

Nice electric brushes.
Color: Navy
Nice electric toothbrush. Bought multiple for the household. Different settings. Stops after about 29 seconds on a certain side for you to change your a different area of mouth. Hilda charge very well. Power is decent. The extra toothbrush heads are a plus.

Great toothbrush
Color: Pale Pink
This replaced a battery operated toothbrush I had. My old toothbrush just made a buzzing noise but never actually vibrated or moved. My teeth feel amazing after brushing and I can feel the vibration actually cleaning my teeth.

So far so good! A lot of bang for your buck.
Color: Black
So far, I LOVE this toothbrush. Lots of replacement heads included. The bristles are soft, and even for someone who has dealt with sensitivity in the past, I have zero pain using this. My teeth feel smooth and look brighter. I've been using it for a few weeks and have not needed to charge it since the initial charge. The 30 second interval timer is a fantastic feature. My one suggestion (not a complaint) for the manufacturer: Move the charging port to the side instead of the bottom, and add a waterproof protective cap for it. I am always careful not to get the port wet, but laying it down to charge isn't my favorite thing. Nevertheless, excellent product!

Great Gift Idea for a Deep Clean Feeling
Color: Pale Pink
I haven’t personally used this toothbrush yet because it was purchased as a birthday gift, but I have used a similar sonic electric toothbrush before and really liked the results. My daughter-in-law loves hers, which is actually what inspired me to buy a similar one for my other daughter. The design looks nice, and these types of toothbrushes usually leave your teeth feeling much cleaner than a regular toothbrush. So far, it seems like a great gift idea and good value for the price
