The proposal that the impact of humanity on the planet has left a distinct footprint, even on the scale of geological time, has recently gained much ground. Global climate change, shifting global cycles of the weather, widespread pollution, radioactive fallout, plastic accumulation, species invasions, the mass extinction of species - these are just some of the many indicators that we will leave a lasting record in rock, the scientific basis for recognizing new time intervals in Earth's history. The "Anthropocene," as the proposed new epoch has been named, is regularly in the news. Even with such robust evidence, the proposal to formally recognize our current time as the Anthropocene remains controversial both inside and outside the scholarly world, kindling intense debates. The reason is clear. The Anthropocene represents far more than just another interval of geologic time. Instead, the Anthropocene has emerged as a powerful new narrative, a concept through which age-old questions about the meaning of nature and even the nature of humanity are being revisited and radically revised. This Very Short Introduction explains the science behind the Anthropocene and the many proposals about when to mark its beginning: The nuclear tests of the 1950s? The beginnings of agriculture? The origins of humans as a species? Erle Ellis considers the many ways that the Anthropocene's "evolving paradigm" is reshaping the sciences, stimulating the humanities, and foregrounding the politics of life on a planet transformed by humans. The Anthropocene remains a work in progress. Is this the story of an unprecedented planetary disaster? Or of newfound wisdom and redemption? Ellis offers an insightful discussion of our role in shaping the planet, and how this will influence our future on many fronts. Great content, horrible formatting
Format: Kindle, Format: Kindle
I am only a quarter way through the book and can see it is excellent in terms of content - the kind of book that makes the reader quite angry at the way things have been done behind the scenes (much like Patel's "Government Gangsters" and "Kennnedy's "The Real Anthony Fauci").
However, a warning to those who get the Kindle version - it is formatted horribly. After having read dozens of books on my iPad mini using the Kindle app over the years, this is the first bok where hyphens are in words that do not break on line endings, which seems minor but after a few dozen instances gets really annoying. I hope some AI reads these reviews and sends a note to whoever edited this thing (or converted it to an e-book) to rectify this stupid situation.
Attached are two screen shots, both from page 39 - where I high-lit the offending words...

I have never said this before, but a MUST read.
Format: Paperback
A terrifying book. If you have been following recent random statements from the President about election fraud and our actions against Venezuela, things will become much clearer. It is a scary read and will bring feelings of dread, but it should be read by everyone. By several copies and hand them out to anyone you know. The world has been played.

Proof that our election systems have been corrupted!
Format: Paperback
This is the book that Election Corruption Deniers don't want you to read. It is well documented and it brings the receipts. I admire the tenacity and sacrifice of those who made this book possible. If you are at all concerned about election integrity, you need to buy this book.
